Police responded for a report of cars that were damaged at a home on North Shore Drive around 9:42 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 5, Stow Police Chief Michael Sallese reports.
Upon arrival, officers learned that the tires on two cars were slashed and one of them had an antisemitic slur carved into its side. Further investigation revealed that parts of the home were burned as well, Sallese said.
“These abhorrent actions have no place in Stow,” Chief Sallese said. “We take all reports of hateful behavior extremely seriously, and will investigate and prosecute this crime to the fullest extent possible.”
The investigation is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to contact Stow Police at 978-897-4545.
